Property Purchase Process in the UK

Property Reservation

Submit a scanned copy of your passport
Provide proof of address
Upon acceptance of the offer

Complete the reservation form
Pay the deposit via credit card

Exchange of Contracts

Appoint a solicitor
Conduct a video witnessing via WeChat
Source of funds verification
Pay 10% of the property price
This step must be completed within one month of reservation

Interim Payment and Mortgage

6 or 12 months after reservation: Pay 10% of the property price
Prepare mortgage application and arrange for bank valuation

Final Payment, Completion and Handover

Settle the remaining balance and pay stamp duty upon receiving the completion notice from the solicitor
The property management team will take over and handle the title registration with the solicitor
